NSE – An Introduction
• The National Stock Exchange (NSE) is the leading stock exchange in India and the fourth largest in the world by equity trading volume in
2015, according to World Federation of Exchanges
(WFE).It began operations in 1994 and is ranked as the largest stock exchange in India in terms of
total and average daily turnover for
equity shares every year
since 1995, based on
annual reports of SEBI.
• NSE launched electronic screen-based trading in 1994, derivatives trading (in the form of index
futures) and internet trading in 2000, which were each the first of its kind in
India.
• NSE has a fully-integrated business model comprising our exchange listings, trading services,
clearing and settlement services, indices, market data feeds, technology solutions and financial education offerings. NSE
also oversees compliance by trading and clearing members
and
listed companies with the
rules and regulations
of the exchange.
NSE Academy's Certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP)
• NSE Academy, in collaboration with colleges and institutes in India, has been offering a short- term course called NSE Academy's Certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP), in the
campuses of the respective colleges/
institutes.
• The aim of the NCCMP Program is to develop skills and competency in securities markets.
• It is a 100 hours program, spanning over 3 – 4 months and covering theoretical and practical training in subjects related to capital markets.
• Successful candidates are awarded joint certification from NSE Academy and the concerned
college.

NCCMP certification
• At the end of the Course a joint – NSE Academy certificate would be awarded to the
successful Candidates by the college directly to the candidate after
the final results are
announced.
• To be eligible for the NCCMP certificate, the Candidate would be required to show consistent
performance and successfully complete the following:
– Midterm examination scoring at least 50% marks
– End term examination scoring at least
50% marks
– Submission of project work of satisfactory quality
• Students who fail to secure qualifying marks will be allowed to appear for one supplementary examination
within one month of the publication
of
the result. If the student fails to
obtain
the qualifying
marks in the supplementary examination he/she may opt for a participation certificate or may appear for the examination with students of the next batch after
paying an
examination fee
Proposal to the Colleges/Institutes

Academy may
send
in
an
application to the
NSE
Academy expressing their
desire to introduce this course by giving the following details:

• University it is affiliated to

college offers
• Whether approved by UGC/ AICTE
• Any accreditation / grading by recognized
authorities
• Name, telephone number, email address of
a contact
person
Responsibilities, Obligations and Undertakings of
NSE Academy
• NSE Academy shall grant non- exclusive rights to Collaborator to use the NCCMP and NSE
Academy’s trade name and logo during the term of the Agreement only for marketing purpose
and
/or in such a manner as
may be specified by NSE Academy from time to time.
• For the theoretical part of the Course, NSE Academy shall give study material in such a form
as agreed mutually between NSE Academy and Collaborator and grant rights to Collaborator to make agreed
number of copies of the same.
• NSE Academy shall offer its on-line testing engine for conducting
the end term examination.
• NSE Academy Shall allow the candidates enrolling for NCCMP course to appear for any one of
the NCFM exam.
Proposed financial considerations
• The Course fees consist of base Course Fees which would be Rs. 15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) per candidate plus service tax and any other taxes as applicable. Base Course
fees can be revised
in future after mutual consultation between the Parties.
